WEST CHICAGO, IL, February 1, 2018 — DiscoverLink is excited to welcome another new member to the team. Alexis Garoufalis has joined DiscoverLink as a full-time employee after interning for the company part-time for two years as both a Marketing Intern and a Quality Assurance Intern. Garoufalis has joined as Quality Assurance Analyst and is responsible for testing new features and defects in DiscoverLink Talent and DiscoverLink Learning and making sure the learning management systems work correctly before new changes are released to clients.

Garoufalis graduated from Purdue University in December with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. She started college as an Engineer majoring but switched to Linguistics after finding her groove in language. With her background in technology and language, interning in quality assurance was a perfect match for her at DiscoverLink.

“Alexis has awesome energy and great attention to detail,” said Kathy Little, Director of User Experience. “Alexis’s addition to the team will help DiscoverLink continue to provide our clients with the best user experience in the industry.”

In her free time, Garoufalis loves to travel and has visited 16 countries outside of the United States. She also enjoys baking and makes some mean cake pops. Garoufalis is based in the West Chicago, Illinois office.
