Beta Program Roll-out Plan
We are excited to start recruiting for our Mobile App Beta Program. There are a few things you need to be aware of before you sign up.
We expect to have three different groups of beta testers, and each group will start at a different time. We will notify you with detailed instructions when your group is ready to start.
Recommended Approach
We recommend you start the beta process within the training department (unlimited devices). Once you’re comfortable, you may optionally choose to roll out the beta to up to 5 locations.
Operating Systems and Devices for Beta
Supported operating systems for the Mobile App will include iOS 11+ and Android 5.0+ (lollipop). Please note that Apple IDs will be required for iOS devices and the Gmail address for GooglePlay will be required for Android devices in order to participate in the beta test.
Also, devices that are Mobile Device Management (MDM) administered cannot be included in the beta program.
Selecting Locations to Participate
While we understand that you may wish to involve some of your locations, please try to keep the beta participants to a minimum (no more than 5 locations). Selected participants should not be easily deterred by some defects, although we will do our best to address issues quickly and create a stable environment for your testing. We will likely have several updates to the app during the beta program, so your participants should be flexible enough to manage the updates.
