Title: Inside Sales Representative
Reports To: Vice President of Marketing
Location: West Chicago, IL (or remote for best candidate)
Working Relationships: Business Development, Account Management, Client Services, Operations, Marketing
The Inside Sales Representative will focus on customer acquisition, prospecting, implementation, and account management. You will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing our company’s brand and offerings in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. This position involves prospecting potential clients, following up on client business referrals and leads provided by marketing, implementing clients on the learning management system, and managing accounts. You will work with prospective and current clients to create solutions for their needs and consult with them throughout the sales process. -Manages, retains, and grows revenue; responsible for sales and the customer relationship (including new sales and revenue quota attainment).
-Cultivates sales opportunities through prospecting specified accounts.
-Establishes strong customer relationships, ensures effective service delivery to accounts, and cultivates new business opportunities within those customers.
-Demonstrates our products and services and maintains the demo site.
-Implements closed clients on our learning management system and provides initial training.
-Focuses on customer satisfaction, knows the customer’s business and workflows, develops proper contact network within accounts.
-Strategically develops and executes a growth-centric account plan and owns overall strategy for growth and revenue.
-Applies knowledge of business and its constituent workflows to conceive and position value-added solutions to promote sales and revenue growth.
-Acts as point of contact for the client, provides escalation path to and from operations, attends to customer issues promptly.
-Advances the sale, application, and evolution of products within accounts, has oversight of all account activities.
-Tracks customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities.
-Prioritizes and cultivates business development opportunities that have been designated to them.
Experience, Skills and Abilities Required
-College degree and/or 3 years’ inside sales experience
-Solution sales skills (identify, develop, and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
-Strong interpersonal communication, listening, and presentation skills
-Restaurant and/or hospitality vertical sales experience desired
-Software sales experience desired
-Knowledge of CRM, Zoho a plus
