E-learning Chats Heat Up at CHART Conference in San Antonio
WEST CHICAGO, IL, February 23, 2018 – Last week, CHART 95 spiced things up in San Antonio and the DiscoverLink team was there to participate in all the hospitality fun. The conference went off without a hitch all thanks to the CHART San Antonio board members. John Poulos, President of DiscoverLink, volunteered to serve on the conference committee as Co-Director of the Hospitality Suite and worked hard to help plan and organize the conference. Thanks to all who planned the conference and left us feeling fired up. Here are some of the highlights.
The conference kicked off for First Time Attendees (FTAs) on Saturday with an FTA meeting that members of the DiscoverLink team attended. Employees Zach Golden, Account Manager; Alexis Garoufalis, Quality Assurance Analyst; and Kayla Dusing, Public Relations Coordinator all attended. Following the meeting was a Welcome Reception that provided plenty of networking fun and left everyone warmed up for dinner.

Saturday night, DiscoverLink team members attended small group dinners and mingled with other CHART attendees and several DiscoverLink clients. The following day, competency track sessions began and the three DiscoverLink FTAs participated in order to gain more understanding of the day-to-day challenges our clients face so we can better serve their needs.
During Sunday evening, attendees joined together at the Resource Gallery to meet vendors and enter for a chance to win a scorching hot prize. DiscoverLink featured DiscoverLink Talent Gen Z for the first time to the public and demoed the new user interface for many interested attendees. Congratulations to David Vonderschmidt from SSP America on winning our touch screen monitor raffle prize!
Monday night at the Dinner Event, Kimberlie Anderson, Training and Development for Ezell’s Chicken, and Zach joined forces and performed a fiery air guitar duo. Later, Alexis finished a 1,000-piece puzzle at the Hospitality Suite with the help of many attendees.
Since CHART 95, we’ve been busy sorting through stacks of business cards, responding to inquiries about e-learning solutions, and recovering from four days of learning and fun. Join us in July in Boca Raton for CHART 96. We hope to see you there!
