Remote Data Entry & Sign-off in Certification Tracker
Certification Tracker now allows managers, supervisors or trainers to enter certification details for an individual learner and sign off on it remotely, leveraging the power of cloud computing. These optional settings can be turned on for each Certification Tracker the admin sets up.
These remote management features give you all the of the oversight you need to ensure that certifications are completed promptly, and details recorded uniformly, without requiring that the proctor be in the same location or working the same shift as the learner. Remote Data Entry is very useful for recording data from certification workshops or group training events.
When a Certification Tracker is available for supervisory data entry, an “A” icon appears on the Manager’s Dashboard. When a Certification Tracker is ready for sign-off, a circle with a checkmark appears on the Dashboard.

In addition to remote management, there are three more Certification Tracker enhancements included in the Power Release. Now you can:
- Specify the number of days prior to the due date you want a recurring certification item to appear on the To-Do List
- Set a specific expiration date rather than basing recurrence on date last completed
- Select the certifying organization from a dropdown, making it easier to include that information in a uniform manner on certifications
With these powerful new options, Certification Tracker helps you keep industry-critical certifications on the right track.
Remote Sign-off for Checklists
Remote Sign-off is now available as an option for Checklists as well. Managers now have the power to proctor Checklists anytime, anyplace from the Manager’s Dashboard.
Grouping and Filtering of Content and Learning Programs
The Manager’s Dashboard is already one of the most powerful, yet simple, features in DiscoverLink Talent, and the Power Release puts it into overdrive. With Content and Learning Program Groups, now you can filter the dashboard by role, skill position, content type, or content and learning program groups that you specify. No more scrolling for ages to see and assign learning programs. Now you have the power to create the views you want and to zero in on a specific set of employees, learning programs or content.

Learning Program Groups
Learning Program Groups are great for focusing in on learning programs that are related by role, skill type or subject matter (such as LTOs or MIT programs), to provide better visibility and management on both the Manager’s Dashboard and the Manage Content screen.
After associating learning programs with groups, you can filter the Manager’s Dashboard by Employees and Learning Programs.
You can filter Employees by Role or Skill Position. You can filter Learning Programs by Role, Skill Position or Learning Program Group (custom groups you define).

Content Groups
Content Groups let you set recurring assignments for all content items in the group at once. Recurrence is set based on the last completed item in the Content Group. Content Groups can cross multiple learning programs, and learning programs can include multiple Content Groups, providing unparalleled flexibility and power to manage and assign related content items.

After associating content items with groups, you can filter the Manage Content screen by Content Items and Learning Programs.
