New Software Developer Joins DiscoverLink Engineering Team
WEST CHICAGO, IL, March 19, 2018 — This month, DiscoverLink is excited to announce a new addition to the team. Reid Anderson has joined DiscoverLink as Software Developer in the Engineering department. In this position, Anderson will help with the development of DiscoverLink Talent and DiscoverLink Learning and will be involved in the testing and implementation of our LMS software.
Anderson graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He previously worked as a carpenter for seven years before changing careers to software development. He worked as a Java Developer for Menard Inc. until he decided to create a small business selling leather dog collars and leashes with his fiancée. Anderson took on the lead technology role for the startup to help create the most effective online presence possible.
“We’re excited that Reid has joined the DiscoverLink team,” said Jason Prigg, Lead Software Engineer. “His addition to the team will provide more bandwidth to help DiscoverLink keep up with the growing demands of our clients.”
In his free time, Anderson enjoys playing disc golf and has been an avid disc golfer for over 10 years. Although, despite his experience, he still hasn’t shot a hole in one. Anderson is a sports fan, and his favorite teams are the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He also recently adopted a puppy. Anderson is based in the West Chicago office.
